More About Me

After obtaining a Bachelor with Honours in Chemistry at the University of Hamburg, Germany, I proceeded my studies at Imperial College London, U.K. and obtained a Master of Research in Nanomaterials as well as a PhD in Computational Materials Science. Throughout my career, I have acquired extensive skills in a variety of computational chemistry and physics codes and demonstrated an ability and willingness to attain new computational skills. I am adept at working in multidisciplinary environments and have been responsible for managing various international research collaborations as the leading computational chemist. During my research career, I have attended many international conferences and have been an invited speaker on several occasions. I have outstanding communicational skills as is evidenced by my track record of invited talks. My academic teaching experience demonstrates my ability to pass on (computational) skills to peers. Furthermore, my publication record and experience as an academic editor and writer demonstrate my skill in academic English. Moreover, my extensive experience in training LLMs with Scale AI provided me with extensive skills in prompt engineering and the mechanics of Specialised Fine Tuning (SFT).
